Mysa® CO2 Laser
Designed for melanated skin. Built for results.
Finally, a CO2 Laser for Darker Skin Tones!
Traditional CO2 lasers rely heavily on heat, which can cause burns, scarring, or worsening pigmentation in melanin-rich skin. Mysa® changed that.
Our CO2 device was specifically designed to treat melanated skin safely and effectively. We can address stubborn pigment and scars that other lasers cannot—without the risk.

What We Treat with Mysa® CO2 Laser
Surgical scars – C-section, liposuction, breast lift, tummy tuck, and other surgical scars
Exogenous Ochronosis (EO) – A rare, often permanent blue-black pigmentation on the face caused by long-term use of hydroquinone-based skin-lightening creams (typically >4%)
Stubborn hyperpigmentation on people of color – Dark knees, elbows, knuckles, and other areas that haven't responded to other treatments
The Treatment Process
Step 1: Consultation (Required. No exceptions.)
We must see the area in person. During your consultation, we will:
Assess the treatment area
Understand the cause of the issue
Review your medical and skincare history
Determine if Mysa® CO2 is right for you
Step 2: Patch Test
Before any full treatment, we perform a patch test using different settings. This ensures we find the optimal setting for results without harming or damaging your skin.
Step 3: First Full Treatment
Once the patch test clears, we schedule your first full session.
Step 4: 4-Week Follow-Up
After each treatment, you return for a follow-up to monitor progress and determine if additional sessions are needed.
Step 5: Ongoing Sessions (as needed)
Based on your follow-up, we continue treatment until desired results are achieved.

Why a Consultation Is Required (Read This)
There is NO way to proceed with Mysa® CO2 Laser without a consultation.
We cannot quote you. We cannot book you. We cannot treat you.
Why? Because every scar, every pigment issue, and every skin type responds differently. We must see the area, run a patch test, and confirm safety before any treatment begins.
Consultation fee: Fully refundable as a deposit toward your Mysa® CO2 treatment package.

FAQS
-
No. Due to the complexity of each client's skin type, scar type, and pigment issue, we cannot treat anyone without an in-person consultation. We need to assess the area, understand the cause of your concern, and perform a patch test to find the safest, most effective settings. This protects your skin and ensures real results. There are no exceptions.
-
Yes. Our CO2 device was specifically designed to treat melanated skin safely. Unlike traditional CO2 lasers that rely heavily on heat and risk burns or hyperpigmentation, our technology is calibrated for darker skin tones (Fitzpatrick IV–VI). That said, safety is why we require a patch test before any full treatment.
-
Downtime varies based on the area and intensity of treatment. Generally, you can expect several days of redness, mild swelling, and light peeling. Darker treated areas may temporarily appear darker before flaking off. We provide post-care products and detailed instructions to support healing. Most clients return to normal activities within 5–7 days.
-
It depends on your specific concern. Some clients see significant improvement after 1–2 sessions. Others with deeper scars or stubborn pigmentation may need 3–4 sessions. Your exact number will be discussed during your consultation and adjusted based on your 4-week follow-up results.
-
Yes. The consultation fee is fully refundable as a deposit. If you move forward with a Mysa® CO2 package, that amount is deducted from your total. If we determine CO2 is not right for you, the fee becomes a deposit toward any other Mysa® service. You never lose that money.
